Élan Midwifery believes in the basic premise that all women deserve compassionate, evidence based care that is easily accessible. Moreover, we believe women are empowered through health education and encourage active participation in all treatment regimens. We strive to build long-lasting relationships with our clients based on mutual respect and trust.
Élan Midwifery is a midwife practice specializing in Obstetric Midwifery and Gynecology. The clinic is located within the same medical building as Rick Kubiniec MD.
Client services that will be offered to the Portland/Vancouver area include; routine gynecological checkups and exams, evaluation and treatment of gynecological disorders, endometrial biopsies, family planning services and counseling, preconception care, comprehensive prenatal care, and birth planning. All births of clients will occur at Southwest Washington Medical Center.
All partners of Élan Midwifery are Certified Nurse Midwives. All midwives are licensed with the Washington State Board of Nursing and certified by The American College of Nurse Midwives. Deena Chamlee and Alina Palmer are also licensed with the Oregon State Board of Nursing.
